HENNIKER, NH:  William P. “Billy” Gould, 65, lifelong resident of Henniker, NH, died on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord following a four-month battle with metastasized pancreatic cancer.

Bill owned and operated Gould Well Company in Henniker for more than four decades, drilling (pounding) new wells, as well as installing and replacing well pumps and filtration systems. He would never hesitate to drop everything at a moment’s notice when customers called with water problems. It was not just a profession for him, he truly cared about the customers he served.

He was a great cook and enjoyed baking.

On August 22, 2023, Bill was appointed as an honorary member of the Henniker Fire Department. He was one of only four members to be appointed since 1899.
