ANTRIM, NH:  It is with great sadness that we share that our beloved Kristal E. Joaquin passed away peacefully at home Friday, November 10^th, 2023 after a long-term illness, surrounded by her loved ones.

Kristal was born to Frederick N. Joaquin and Barbara E. Joaquin (Labbe) on December 5th,1962 in Concord, NH where she resided until moving to Antrim, NH in 2000. She loved to help people and make others happy with her contagious smile. She was an incredibly hard worker and passionate about her job, always looking forward to each day and her co-workers.

Kristal loved her home, all things purple, her cats, getting dressed up, her collections of unique trinkets, relaxing in the sun and lounging by the pool. Even in 45 degree weather, you could always find Kristal soaking up the sun, living life to the very fullest. 

She is survived by her partner of 26 years, Alan Charrette, son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Katherine Charrette, sister, Kathy Morrill and husband of Concord, NH, sister, Karen Estey and husband of Peterborough NH, sister, Kim Rivet of Contoocook NH, sister, Stacey Abbott and husband of Ridgefield SC, brother, Wayne Joaquin and wife of Lebanon, ME, brother, Christopher Joaquin of Rochester, NH, sister-in law, Carol Varnumand  and husband of Unity,  NH, brother-in-law, Donald Charrette and wife of Murphy, NC and brother-in-law, Michael Licciardi of Derry, NH. She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Norman Joaquin, sister-in-law, Linda Licciardi, nephew, Jonathan M. Varnum, Jr. and nephew, Donald G. Rivet, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 26th, 2023 from 4 to 8 pm at American Legion Post 59, 538 W Main St, Hillsborough, NH 03244. Family and friends are asking that attendees wear her favorite color, purple, in honor of Kristal. 

The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
