HILLSBORO, NH: Steven A. Leksutin, loved his family, a nice glass of wine, and solving the world’s problems, one duck hut at a time.
“The Crazy Russian Scientist” was born on May 28, 1942 in Manhattan, NY and passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2023 in his Hillsborough home, at the age of 80.
He had a long career in technology and engineering, working in the aerospace industry and developing and building medical equipment.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jerryl L. (Bumford) Leksutin, his children, Alison Fleming, Jessica Blumenthal, Courtland and Aleksander Leksutin, grandchildren Kevin, Douglas and Sarah Clark, Brittany (Blumenthal) Powers, Shianne McQuade, Jake Blumenthal, Allison and Courtney Leksutin, great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Evan and Natalie Clark, Lilah Grace, and Emma Powers, and nephews and nieces, Christopher, Patty, Niki, and Paul Dubuque.
Steven was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Irene (Winkiel) Leksutin and sister, Julie Dubuque.
A burial service will be planned for a later date.
