Funeral home services for Hillsborough NH

HILLSBORO, NH:  With great sorrow and utmost honor, the Steiner, Steeves, Harrison family announce the passing of our mother, wife, and grandmother, Lisa Jo Steiner on March 23, 2023.

Lisa passed comfortably, with family by her side, after a short but grueling battle with Stage 4 Lung Cancer.

Lisa was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 26, 1957 to Bayless H. Epperly and Barbara W. Epperly. Lisa was also raised and loved by her step-father, Thomas Frick. Lisa is survived by her cousin Paula, sisters, Becky Rudge, Jennifer Brown, Natalie Clark, Sarah Hayden and Heather Romaniello and her brothers, Brian Epperly, John Frick, Chris Frick, and Thomas Frick. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Debbie Epperly and brother, Matthew Frick.

Lisa is survived by her true love, Roy F. Steiner, husband of over 40 years, daughters, Erynn-Jo I. Steiner and Heather R. Steeves, and their spouses, Zachary A. Harrison and David A. Steeves. Lisa is also survived by her grandchildren, Allyson and Joseph Steeves.

Lisa’s dedication and work ethic was unmatched, with her career leading her to Vermont Truck and Bus Association, Energy Marketers Association, and NH Motor Transport Association.  In her later years she worked as an Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator, a career she truly loved.

As a devoted Christian, Lisa was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church for many years. She served on the finance committee, volunteered her time for dinners and other church events, and loved her church family dearly.

Lisa volunteered her time to the Hillsboro-Deering Music Department for approximately 10 years as the Music Booster President, where she fundraised thousands of dollars for students to participate in activities, go on trips, and purchase new marching band uniforms. Lisa also volunteered her time by supporting the music department during concerts, parades, and other community events.

Lisa was the best mom to Erynn-Jo and Heather and supported their endeavors throughout their lives, as she did for countless others kids, who gravitated towards Lisa’s warm and comforting aura.  Lisa opened her home as a safe haven to several over the years.

Lisa will be missed by so many but her life mission of spreading kindness, giving to others in need, and living selflessly will continue on in those who love her and the lives she has touched. In lieu of flowers, please choose to spread kindness in everything you do.

“May you always do for others and let others do for you.”  Forever Young ~ Bob Dylan
