ANTRIM, NH:  Paul J. Dugre, 64, of Antrim, New Hampshire, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 peacefully at home after a sudden illness.

Paul was born on April 28, 1958 in Mineola, New York, to Raoul and Gladys (Buchert) Dugre.

Paul grew up in Long Island, New York.   took to the road in his younger years traveling and working as a mechanic. He worked with traveling carnivals and later became a cross-country trucker. Paul eventually started his own business and was the proud the owner of Dugre’s Auto Repair. He was hard-working, dependable, and a very talented mechanic with an uncommon ability to fix anything.

He retired in 2021 and loved traveling the country with his wife in their RV which was a lifelong dream of theirs that they were able to fulfill together. He loved his Harley Davidsons and enjoyed riding all year long, never missing a Christmas out on his bike donning a Santa suit.  He loved adventure, enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, and making new friends everywhere he went. He had a passion for life, loved his community, cared deeply for everyone in his life and maintained many lifelong friendships. He was always willing to help anyone in need whenever he could. He will be truly missed by everyone who ever got to know him.

He is survived by his wife, Michele, and their five children, Victoria Lord, Terry Brackett and his wife Renee, Sean Dugre, David Dugre, and Tyrell Dugre and his wife Haley. He has five grandchildren, Mekayla, Ian, Triston, Maribelle, and Penelope.  Paul also has three siblings, Greg and his wife, Grace, Andrea and her husband, Richard and Jeannine and her husband, Ted.

Services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11 am in St Mary’s Church in Hillsboro, NH,
followed by a Celebration of Life at the American Legion Post 59, Hillsboro, NH from 12 to 4
pm.

The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Hillsboro, NH is assisting the family.

There will be a motorcycle run to honor him and help others fighting cancer. Details of that run will be announced at a future date.
