HILLSBORO, NH: Marjorie Gloria Bumford Perry, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister and aunt, died peacefully July 16, 2022. Marjorie was born in Hancock, NH on October 20, 1928, and she was 93 years young.

Marge grew up in Hillsboro, raising her family in Bennington. Without question, Marge was the CENTER of the family. She frequently hosted Sunday dinners where siblings, aunts, cousins, in-laws and friends gathered, enjoying the almost Thanksgiving-like meals she prepared. She was an excellent cook, in-fact to this day, family members have not mastered how to re-create her special chocolate chip cookies, but they keep trying.
After 30 plus years, Marge retired from NH Ball Bearings and lived with her sister Bernice in Hillsboro and later moved to Antrim Village. Marge was a caring soul, always caring for someone, family or friend. She loved country music and horses, but more importantly she loved her entire family. Family was everything to her.
Marge will be greatly missed by her son, Michael of Bennington, her daughter, Sally and her husband David of Hancock, a very special niece, who was like a daughter to her, Jerry Leksutin of Hillsboro, a nephew, who was like a son, Richard Whitney of Wells, ME and her grandchildren, Adam Perry and his wife, Amanda of Antrim, Jason Perry and his wife, Dara of Antrim, Susan Westaway and her partner, Ross Taylor of Peterborough, Danny Purington of Weare and six great-grandchildren.
