HILLSBORO, NH: Fern Coffey, 71 years of age, passed peacefully in her home on Saturday January 22, 2022.
Fern was born February 19, 1950 in Manchester, New Hampshire to Wilfred and Pauline DeVarney and was the youngest of three children.
Fern had a long career with Osram Sylvania and after retiring, she enjoyed spending time in her garden. She was an active member of the American Legion Post 59 and in her younger years, volunteered her time to help assist with social events, loving to interact with other members.
Fern was a hard worker, always finding the next thing to fix. She understood what was most important to the people around her and was willing to help anyone in need. She had a love for all animals but most of all her Corgi, Kemo.
Fern leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband of 13 years, Robert Coffey, her mother, Pauline Hunter, her siblings, Sandra Levesque and Bruce DeVarney, her five children, Penny Smith-Dalphonse, Tammy Smith, Samantha Marshall, Lindsey Leonard, and Matthew Davis, seven grandchildren Kaili, Emeri, Jonah, Julian, Cora, Maya and Jack, and three great-grandchildren, Oliver, Elijah and Joseph.
Celebration of Life calling hours will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 1 to 3 pm at Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home, 32 School St, Hillsboro, NH 03244.
