HENNIKER, NH: Daymon Allen Murdough, 78, passed away peacefully in his home on December 16th, 2022.
As a founding member of the Henniker Rescue Squad, he was always proud of this accomplishment and the progress it made every year.
Daymon was a local plumber for many years and was known as the “Sewer Rat”. Later he worked part time as a rural postal carrier in town.
He loved frequenting the Harvester, Edmunds, the Police Station, the town sheds, and Goss Lumber. He most enjoyed and unexpectedly visited friends and family. Naps in his truck, in the sun, by the River Road boat launch was a summer time favorite!
He leaves his wife, Rita, of 56 years, his children, Ana Jara of CA., Sarah Chapin, Becky Murdough-Osgood and husband, Rick, Jeremiah “J” Murdough and partner, Jen Rockett, and Matthew Murdough and partner, Erica Butler, from NH.
He will be missed by many, especially his 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Burial will be held at the discretion of the family at a later date.
