DEERING, NH: Irene Hope Eldridge, 98, died peacefully on October 17, 2021 at Harris Hill Center in Concord, NH.
She was born in Quincy, MA on August 12, 1923 daughter of Harold L. Eldridge and Irene Mary Morgan. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy, her brother, Edward, and twin great-granddaughters Sydney and Paige Winters. She had most recently been living with her daughter and son-in-law in Deering, NH. Irene was a quiet person and loved the family life. She was married to Roy Eldridge for 69 years before his death in 2013.
Irene loved her job at Osram/Sylvania in the packing department for over 16 years.
Surviving family members are her two daughters, Sandra Farmer and her husband, Norman of Weare, and Linda Winters and her husband, Bob, Jr. of Deering, grandchildren, Wendi, Bob III, Glenn, Beth, Brenda and Brian, great-grandchildren, Jason, Morgan, Madisyn, Bridgette, Elijah, Evan, Benjamin, Jeremy, Tyler, Katelynn, Kaley, Ella, Sam, six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Irene was part of five living generations.
No services will be held at Irene’s request.
The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
Burial will at a later date with her husband at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
