HILLSBORO, NH: Albert J. Robichaud, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.
Albert was born on September 26, 1933 to Alice (Whitney) Nickerson and Albert Robichaud, Sr. Marjorie, his beloved wife of 48 years, passed away in 2001.
He lived in Hillsboro all his life and was employed for 36 years at Peterborough Ball Bearings. His happy place was his camp on Highland Lake that he and his wife owned for 43 years. It’s where he enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage with his family and friends, or quietly sitting on the porch reading his paper. “Gramp” taught all kids that visited how to properly bait a hook and sometimes he let them drive the boat. Anyone who visited Albert and Marjorie at camp has undoubtedly a funny story to share. Albert had a quick wit and great sense of humor.
A Fisherman’s Prayer for Albert:
He leaves behind his children, Julie and Darwin Hughes of Windsor, NH and Joseph Robichaud of Hallieford, VA and his siblings, Lucy Robichaud of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and Eddie Nickerson of Boscawen, NH, his grandchildren, Angela and Tom Merrill, Michael and Heather Greene, Mark and Brittney Robichaud, Matthew and Anastasia Robichaud, Dustin and Beth Hughes, Erin and Brian Currier, Rachel Hughes and several great-grandchildren.
Your many friends and family thank you for the unconditional love and all the wonderful memories you have left us with.
