WASHINGTON, NH:  Wendy Sue (Wilbur) Bixby, 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, January 26th, 2021 at Brookdale Senior Living in Durham, NH with loving support from her family. Wendy has joined her husband Robert (Bob) C. Bixby, to whom she was married for 50 years and missed dearly. 

Wendy grew up in Greenwood, a part of Wakefield, MA. She married Bob and settled in Rowley, MA to raise three children, while being a dispatcher for the Rowley Police and Fire Department out of her house, and later running Wendy’s Beauty Shoppe. Wendy and Bob retired to Camp Muddygush in Stoddard, NH where they shared their time with family and friends enjoying the lake and playing many games. She loved dancing and theatre with Bob and their many close friends. Wendy loved anything green and Irish and loved to follow all of Boston sports. Like her husband, she will be remembered for her personality and distinct laugh. 

Wendy is survived by her daughter, Robin Bixby of Sunrise Florida and her children, Dillon Hyland and Emilee (Hyland) Sullivan, her son, Mark Bixby and his wife Sandy Bixby of Newmarket, NH and their children Jonathan Bixby and his wife Shaylin and Kristin Bixby, her son Brian Bixby and his wife Joann of East Haven, CT and their daughter Maria and their grandchildren, Brianna and RJ. 

Services will be with family at a future date. 

The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service Hillsboro, NH is assisting the family.
