HILLSBORO, NH: Paul D. Scott of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, passed away on February 22, 2021 at his home. Paul a long-time resident of Hillsborough, was born in New York on February 18, 1951. He was the son of the late Douglas and Harriet Scott (nee Muff) of Warner, New Hampshire. Paul's parents were both veterans of World War II.
Paul grew up in Farmingdale, NY on Long Island. While attending public school there he played football. After graduation, he attended and graduated from New England College in Henniker. He genuinely loved and embraced the ethos of the Granite State and spent the rest of his life living and working here.
Paul was a successful antiques dealer and was fortunate to count many of his business associates as his friends too. He was active in several professional organizations. He kept close contact with his friends there as well.
Paul was an extremely charismatic and fun-loving man. He was a pleasure to be around, incredibly positive in the face of adversity and always left you smiling. He was one of a kind and the true embodiment New Hampshire’s motto of “Live Free or Die” until the very end. Paul is survived by many cousins and his presence in their lives will be greatly missed.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic no memorial service will be held at this time.
