PETERBOROUGH, NH:  Peter Alan Dubuque died unexpectedly on September 10, 2019, at the age of 63, at his home.

Peter was born September 5, 1956 in Lebanon, NH to William D. and Pauline A. (Boisvert) Dubuque.

Pete previously worked as a home health caregiver for people with disabilities for many years. He did not view them as just clients, he looked at them as he would his friends and family. Pete was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. His granddaughter, Kailie, was his pride and joy. She was the light of his life and always brought him happiness and love. He loved all children, and kids were drawn to him, probably because he was a big kid himself.  Pete had a soft spot for animals and a natural ability to connect with them. He will always be remembered for his big heart, awesome sense of humor, and his wild side.

He is survived by his daughter, Becky Lugtig, and granddaughter, Kailie Lugtig, of Hillsboro, NH. He is also survived by his mother, Pauline Dubuque, brother, William Dubuque III and family, sister, Diane McGovern and family, brother, Paul Dubuque and family, sister, Marie Davison, and family and brother, David Dubuque and family. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dubuque, Jr., and his beloved dogs, Bully and Gretchen. 

There will be a Funeral Service at St. Mary’s Church in Hillsboro, NH on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11 am, with burial to follow, at St. Charles Cemetery.
