HENNIKER, NH: Louis E. Hamm, Jr., 61, a well-known resident of the Town of Henniker, NH, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Louis was born January 18, 1958 in Martinez, California to Louis E. Hamm, Sr. and Shirley (Hair) Hamm. He was predeceased by his mother, Shirley (Hair) Hamm, who died in 2003. Louis was also predeceased by his firstwife, Gloria (Morse) Hamm. Louis then spent 15 years with his second wife, Michelle Hamm, before they divorced.
He was a hard working man his entire life and devoted many of his working years to Paper Tech Corp in Contoocook, NH. He was very knowledgeable in many areas of work from automotive to carpentry. No job was too big or too small and there wasn’t much he couldn’t do.
Louis had many great hobbies and a passion for motorcycles, primarily Harleys, and old cars and trucks. Throughout his life, he restored many old cars, trucks and motorcycles and turned them into beautiful machines. He also enjoyed going to the ocean, fishing, camping, cookouts with friends and family and long bike rides. His sense of humor could make any one’s bad day brighter, with his jokes, funny antics and the faces he would make, you couldn’t help but smile. Louis was an amazing man who was taken from us too soon, and he is loved and missed every day.
Louis was survived by his father, Louis E. Hamm, Sr., of Henniker, NH, a daughter, Serenity L. Hamm of Henniker, NH, two grandchildren, Keegan and Eternity, a great-grandson, Dante, and a niece, Trisha Hardy, of Hillsboro, NH.
A Celebration of Louis’ Life will be held at the home of his daughter, Serenity, at a date and time will be announced.
