HOPKINTON: Virginia L. (Sweatt) Pastuszczak, 69, of Hopkinton passed away February 16, 2019 after a sudden illness.
Gini, as she was better known to friends and family, was born December 24, 1949. She was a graduate of Hopkinton High School, Class of 1967, and spent the majority of her life in the town she was raised in. Gini enjoyed boating with her husband during the summer months on Lake Winnipesauke and vacationing in Wolfeboro, NH every summer. Her love for animals was selfless, especially for her beloved cat, Nori. She had a strong interest in genealogy and was a long-time member of the Sons and Daughters of Nathan Lord. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and simple match-3 and word games on her laptop.
Gini was predeceased by her parents, Dana L. Sweatt and Alice A. (Cote) Sweatt, and by her son, John Drake.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 41 years, Stanley Pastuszczak of Hopkinton, daughters, Lisa Cantara of Alexandria, Linda Marshall of Chichester, sons, Daniel Pastuszczak of Hopkinton, Thomas Pastuszczak of Bradford, brother, Timothy Sweatt of Hopkinton, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
