DEERING, NH: Annie Ruth Buker (91) passed away on October 11, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. Annie was born on March 21, 1926 in Wilton, Maine to Ira and Florence Hatch. She will be remembered in our hearts as loving, caring selfless, strong-willed, independent, and determined.
Annie grew up in Wilton, Maine. She worked at Foster Manufacturing and Wilton Woolen Mill. She moved to Hillsborough, NH with her family in 1962. She was employed at Woods Woolen Mill, Hillsboro Hosiery Mill, and GTE Sylvania. In 1988 she retired and focused her time, love, and attention towards her children and grandchildren, as well as traveling with her dear friend Flossy Nadeau. She was a proud member of the Rebekah’s, the Deering Fish and Game, and the Granite State Snow Knights snowmobile club.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Zee Parker and her husband Bryan of Wilmington, NC, her son, Clayton Buker, Jr. and his wife Rachel of Washington, NH, her son, Robert Buker and his wife Tammy of Hillsborough, NH, and her son-in-law Guy Collins of East Wilton, ME. She is also survived by her sisters, Ethel Knowles of Lebanon, ME and Florence Elaine Watson of Farmington, NH, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Annie leaves us to join her husband of 69 years, Clayton A. Buker, Sr., her daughters, Roberta and Eileen, her parents, her brother, Ira, sisters, Laura and Gloria, her grandson, Corey, and beloved dog, Tigger.
Annie will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Annie leaves us with memories that we will forever hold in our hearts such as walks through Oxbow Campground, building couch forts and playing cards with her grandchildren, Christmas mornings, back road drives, camping, and visits on the front porch.
There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
