HILLSBORO, NH: Virginia (Ginny) Rutkowski went home to spend eternity with Jesus on April 1, 2017. Born in 1925 she lived a full and blessed 91 years. She was born on Long Island, NY where she lived, loved and raised her family until 1974 when she and her husband moved to NH.
Ginny was an active member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church serving in many areas, most notably the choir, as President of the Women’s Afternoon Fellowship Group and heading their unique “Teddy Bear” ministry which distributes stuffed teddy bears to those in the hospital or displaced from their homes.
She was predeceased by her husband Benjamin Rutkowski, and her daughters Robin Padua and Dale Rutkowski. She is survived by her daughter Jill Corwin and her husband Bill, grandchildren Jeremy Corwin, Sara White, Jackie Martin, Eric B. Padua and Nicole Kohler, as well as their spouses and eight great-grandchildren. Ginny loved her family and especially enjoyed time spent with her great-grandchildren.
A memorial celebration will be held on Sunday April 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church.
A service of interment will be held at a later date.
The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to either the Hillsboro United Methodist Church, Hillsboro, NH or the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House, Concord, NH.
