FRANCESTOWN, NH: David Paul Rowean 64, of Francestown, NH died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his home, with his beloved dog Tessie by his side.
David was born September 26, 1951 in Boston, MA, to James F. and Frances A. (Weeks) Rowean.
David was in the pool business for over 45 years; he also owned and operated Yankee Pools in Francestown, NH.
He was a volunteer fireman for the town of Francestown, NH for over 20 years before his retirement, a former EMT Instructor, First Aid Advisor, life member of Professional Ski Patrol, (PSPA) past president, first aid chairman, and a long time ski patroller at Cannon Mountain, Waterville Valley, Pats Peak, Crotched Mountain East, and Beaver Creek, Colorado.
He was survived by his wife, Beverly A. Abbott of Francestown, NH, sister-in-law Bill-Lee Abbott, mother-in-law Catherine Abbott, one brother, James and his wife Drew Rowean, of Cape Elizabeth ME, one sister, Sherry and her husband Mike Forest of Woburn, MA, two nieces and one nephew.
A Celebration of his life will be held Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 2-4 pm at Toll Booth Tavern, at Crotched Mountain Golf Club, 2 NH Turnpike North Francestown, NH.
