PENACOOK, NH: Anne Louise Ashey, passed away at Concord Hospital on February 1, 2018. Anne was born in August 1940 to Harold and Thelma Ashey (Jemery) of Hartford, VT, before moving to Penacook, NH.
Anne was predeceased by her father and mother, her sister, Audrey LaValley of Penacook, her brother, Harold (Sonny) Ashey of Dover, NH and their spouses. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Anne also leaves behind her many friends and loving caregivers from Community Bridges and her group home at Hope Avenue in Concord.
Anne was a kind and sweet person with the gift of gab and a great sense of humor. She had a fondness for all her friends in the community and always greeted those familiar to her with a hearty “Hello My Friend!” Among her prized possessions were her family pictures and her Mickey Mouse dolls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, 72 S Main St, in Concord, NH, on Monday, February 12th, 1:30 pm, Rev. Richard Roberge, celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Community Bridges on behalf of Hope Avenue, 70 Pembroke Road Concord, NH 03301.
